
06/18/2007 GGB adds engineering, sales support in ChinaStephan Hu has joined GGB China, formerly Glacier Garlock bearings, as an application engineer and Lencho Yang and Wilson Ni have joined as area sales managers for north and south China respectively. All three are graduate automotive engineers and report to Hansen Mao, general manager sales China. “The addition of Stephan, Lencho and Wilson underscores the importance of expanding our coverage and offering local engineering support in the dynamic Chinese market,” said Mathias Senghaas, sales manager Asia, in announcing the new appointments. Based in Shanghai and working with Robert Farquhar, GGB’s ATG engineer Asia, Stephan Hu will be responsible for providing technical support for our Chinese sales team and customers, helping design our bearing materials into their applications. From his base in our newly established sales office in Beijing, Lencho Yang will be responsible for developing the automotive and large OEM markets in north China.
